Idling Stop System

Honda has created an advanced Idling Stop System (Image is on the left side) that reduces fuel consumption while totally blocking out toxic exhaust gas and unwanted noise. It enables the engine to stop automatically for 3 seconds after the vehicle stops moving. And when the throttle is opened, the vehicle engine restarts and takes off smoothly.

  1. Rider closes the throttle completely
  2. Vehicle comes to a halt
  3. Engine automatically turns off
  4. Idling Stop indicator changes to flash (Glow)
  1. Rider releases the throttle and vehicle de-accelerates
  2. Once vehicle attains speed less than 21km/h
  3. Engine automatically turns off
  4. Idling Stop indicator changes to flash (Glow)
After Engine Cut-off → Re-start of Vehicle
Flow
  1. Rider opens the throttle
  2. Engine automatically turns on
  3. Rider can again start the riding
  1. Rider opens the throttle during vehicle running
  2. Engine automatically turns on
  3. Rider can continue riding the vehicle
This cycle will continue.
