Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has factories spread over a large area to meet the production capacity and innovative endeavours. Here is a list of the production factories of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India.
Manesar Plant, Gurgaon, Haryana
Honda Manesar Plant, established in May 2001, is the first plant with a capacity of 1.6 million units. The plant is spread over 52 acres.
The plant creates new concepts and designs for Honda Motorcycles and Scooters, has become an export hub, and ships globally to 58 countries.
Tapukara Plant, Rajasthan
The second production factory of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, established in 2011, the Tapukara Plant, is spread over approximately 2,40,000 square meters of land. Established to enhance the production capacity, the plant aims to boost the production capacity to 2.2 million units of motorcycles and scooters.
With advanced technology, the plant aims to improve process ergonomics and employ advanced automation. Additionally, the plant seeks a more environmentally friendly production by recycling water and reducing energy consumption.
Narsapura Plant, Southern State of Karnataka
The second largest production plant of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, the Narsapura Plant, is spread across 96 acres. The plant follows the concept of "Joy to the Next Generation", aimed to reduce energy consumption during production.
Adhering to the "Green Factory" concept, the 100% rainwater usage in HMSI 3F. With the Zero Liquid discharge, the plant is Honda's most environmentally responsible plant.
Vithalapur Plant, Gujarat
In a momentous step to bolster the "Make in India" movement, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India established the 4th production plant in Gujarat. The plant has a production capacity of 6.5 lakh units.
The plant uses 75% electricity from renewable sources (wind & solar power). It utilises rainwater harvesting and boasts of being a zero-liquid discharge and zero-waste-to-landfill manufacturing factory.

Safety
In April 2021, Honda announced its goal of achieving zero fatalities in traffic accidents involving Honda motorcycles and automobiles worldwide by 2050.
